How we Started!
We are the owners of Thompson Farm in Mt. Pleasant NC. We have been selling our meat at the Charlotte Market since 2019. One of our customers is a Canine Nutritionist and she purchased our meat for her Raw Food Business. We ended up working for her making the food until she moved away. She passed on her custom recipes for complete foods.
In addition to our farm, we took over the Raw Side of her business in 2023. We are now Farmers Best Friend, LLC. selling 4 Blends of Raw Food.
Pets are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.

Each blend comes with a label of ingredients and feeding instructions. If feeding 100% Raw the recommendation is 2% of the dogs body weight per day. Please check with your Vet for further feeding questions.
We are on the Farm generally everyday. You can Pick up off Farm by calling ahead to make sure we have stock. Market Days are 1st Saturday of the month.
